Troubleshooter buyer for 12 separate kids and women's departments for Abraham and Straus Department Store, now Macy's, for 14 1/2 years. Hired as V.P. of Sales and Operations the Hot Sox Co., later the Polo/Ralph Lauren hosiery licensee, to turnaround and manage the business. Duties included finding and training sales, customer service, MIS, and production personnel, establishing controls for buying and managing inventory, and for expenses, negotiating costs with 30 mills worldwide, and coordinating with Design,Sales, Accounts Payable/Receivables, and Marketing.
