Our Speakers Bureau provides speakers and business experts to assist in community activities such as economic development meetings, school and college business classes and special projects, or other community projects or media activities where chapter members might be able to help by providing business insight and perspective in various topics.

Here are a  just a few of our experienced and engaging speakers.

Jay Levy

During a career spanning more than forty years I was involved at various levels as a salesman and marketer of pharmaceuticals and related healthcare products. Initially serving as a sales rep, sales manager and then product manager for a large, global pharmaceutical company, I then moved on to start a direct marketing agency offering high impact marketing programs to manufacturers of healthcare products. Over a period of twelve years I built this company into a solid business before selling it in 1995. Finally, I relocated to Atlanta to help a local healthcare advertising agency start a direct marketing division. Eleven years later I retired while serving as president of the agency.

Jack Bernard

Jack has been involved in the health care field for 35 years.  He was the first Director of Health Planning for the State of Georgia.  Jack then entered the private sector and served as a senior level executive with numerous health  care firms including Humana, NME (now Tenet), Premier and MedAssets.  He is a well known national health reform editorialist. Jack has also been a local activist, serving on the Jasper County Board of Commissioners since 2005.  He has been on numerous committees  and boards, including the Jasper County Board of Health.  Jack chaired the state Tax and Property Tax Committees of the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia.

Lew Kravitz

Lew Kravitz is an executive coach, organizational consultant, and meeting facilitator, assisting organizations to operate more effectively and helping individuals to achieve positive change in their business lives. He has been quoted on career and business matters in local and national media, including the Wall Street Journal, Fortune Magazine, Money Magazine, Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta Journal/Constitution, Fulton County Daily Report, and Business Atlanta, and has appeared as a guest on Atlanta area radio and television.
Kravitz’ career spans over 45 years of senior corporate, entrepreneurial, and consulting experience.

Dick Godschalk

Dick has 30 years’ experience in corporate business planning, new venture analysis, and international business development, mainly in the for-profit hospital market. He has assessed and negotiated new business opportunities in over 20 countries as well as in the USA, and managed a business unit for his company while living abroad. He has also worked as fund raising chair for a non-profit charity, and has been a successful grant writer. He was a US Navy officer, a licensed commercial pilot, and has an MBA in marketing/finance.

Mike Rose

“Mike” Rose is the owner of Associated Business Brokers, Inc. and is a partner in the law firm of Thornton & Rose, Attorneys at Law.  He attended the U.S.Naval Academy and spent 26 years as Naval Aviator.  In 1973 he retired from the Navy and entered the business broker field.  In 1974, he became a partner and in 1988 became the sole owner of the business.  In 1977, he entered law school graduating in 1981.  He then set up a partnership law practice dealing in general law. He presented the course “How to Start a Small Business” at Emory University for ten plus years.   He served as President of the Georgia Business Brokers Association for two terms.  He has held all offices in the Association during the past years. He has arbitrated auto disputes for the Better Business Bureau of Atlanta. He volunteers with the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) advising clients in business matters. He has been with SCORE for more than twenty years. Mike Rose is still counseling small business clients practicing law and operating the business brokerage.  He counsels individuals in business matters such as business organization, purchase and sale of businesses and contracts.
